Tutors
The lesson brings its own link
Tutoring is mostly evenings, mostly online, and mostly arranged with somebody who is not the person attending. Every one of those makes a missed lesson more likely, and a missed lesson is an hour you cannot sell twice.
An example, not a real tutor.
Online lessons carry the meeting link
Mark the lesson as online and a booking for it creates the Google Meet or Zoom link and puts it in the confirmation. Nobody has to send it separately, and nobody has to find it again ten minutes before.
Evening hours, and only those
Set your availability to the hours you actually teach. A page that only offers seven to ten on weekdays is a page nobody can book at four in the afternoon.
The reminder goes to the email that booked
Confirmation on booking, reminder before the lesson, both by email, both automatic. If a parent books, the parent gets them.
Common questions
Does the student need an account to book?
No. They open the link, pick a time and leave their details. You can require a sign-in instead if you would rather, and that is a setting you control.
Can a parent book for their child?
Yes — whoever books leaves their own contact details, and the confirmation and reminders go to them.
Do I need Zoom, or does Meet work?
Either. Connect Google for Meet links or connect Zoom for Zoom links; the one you connect is the one your online lessons use.
Can I teach in more than one language?
Your booking page follows the language of whoever opens it, between English and Portuguese, and the confirmation email follows the same choice.
