Terms of Use
What you may expect from Ilumible, what it expects from you, and what happens when either of you stops.

1. Who this agreement is with
Ilumible is operated by Wendel Freitas, an individual, not a company. There is no CNPJ. These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of the operator’s domicile are the forum for anything they cannot settle. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes a right the Código de Defesa do Consumidor gives you, including your right to sue where you live.
2. Who "you" means
Two different people read this page, and only one of them is bound by all of it.
- A subscriber — you created an account, you manage a calendar, and these terms are the agreement between you and Ilumible.
- Someone who books — you used a professional’s booking page. Your agreement is with that professional, about the service they are going to provide. Ilumible is the software they used. Sections 5 to 9 do not apply to you.
3. What the service is
Scheduling software for people who sell their time: a booking page for your clients, a calendar for you, and email reminders around both. It is not a marketplace, it does not bring you clients, and it does not take a cut of what you charge them. Payment for the appointment itself happens between you and your client, outside Ilumible.
4. Your account
One account belongs to one person. Keep your password to yourself; anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you. Tell the address below if you think someone else has got in.
5. What you may not do
The short version is: do not use someone else’s software to hurt people. Specifically, and grounds for immediate suspension:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email through Ilumible, or importing addresses of people who never gave them to you.
- Storing or distributing anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, scraping at volume, or probing the service for weaknesses without written permission.
- Reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling access to accounts other than your own.
- Using it in a way that degrades the service for other people.
6. Suspension and termination
You can close your account whenever you want, by writing to the address below. There is no notice period and no penalty.
- Ilumible may suspend an account immediately for anything in section 5, for a payment that fails and stays unpaid, or where the law requires it.
- Except where the law or an ongoing abuse makes it impossible, you will be told why, and given a chance to fix it.
- Ilumible may also stop offering the service entirely. Subscribers will get at least 30 days’ notice by email and a refund of any period already paid for and not used.
7. What happens to your data when it ends
Your account and its records are deleted by hand, within 30 days of the request or of a final termination. There is no self-service export screen today, so ask for a copy before you ask for deletion and it will be produced by hand.
- Ask for an export first if you want one — after deletion there is nothing left to export.
- Billing records held by Stripe survive independently, for as long as its own retention and tax rules require.
- Deletion is permanent. There is no restore.
8. What is yours stays yours
Your clients are your clients and your data is your data. Ilumible claims no ownership of anything you put in, does not sell it, does not market to your clients, and does not use your client list for anything other than running your account. Ilumible owns the software itself, its name and its design; nothing here gives you a licence to those beyond using the product.
9. Paying for Professional
Starter is free and asks for no card. Professional is a subscription charged through Stripe.
- Billing is monthly, by card, and renews automatically on the same day each month until you cancel.
- Checkout and the billing portal are pages hosted by Stripe. Card details never pass through Ilumible.
- Cancel from your own dashboard at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the month in progress, and your access continues until that month ends.
- If a charge fails, Stripe retries on its own schedule. An account that stays unpaid may be suspended.
- A price change will be announced by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.
- Beyond the legally required withdrawal window, refunds are at the operator’s discretion — ask, and expect a human answer. If you are a consumer in Brazil buying at a distance, article 49 of the CDC gives you 7 days from the purchase to withdraw for a full refund, and nothing here shortens that.
10. The service comes as it is
There is no service level agreement, no guaranteed uptime, no monitoring rota and nobody on call. The product is offered as it is, with the faults it has. It may be unavailable, it may lose a scheduled email, and maintenance may happen without warning. If your business cannot survive a booking page being down for an afternoon, keep a second way for clients to reach you.
11. Limitation of liability
Ilumible is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost clients. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of two amounts: what you paid in the twelve months before the event, or R$ 500 (US$ 100 where you are billed in dollars). The floor exists because the previous version of these terms capped liability at what you had paid, which is zero on a free plan — a cap of nothing is not a limitation, it is a disclaimer, and it would not survive a reading under the CDC. Nothing in this section limits liability for wilful misconduct, for fraud, or for anything the law does not permit to be limited.
12. When these terms change
The date at the top changes with the text. A change that reduces your rights or raises your price is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies, and continuing to use the product after that is acceptance. If you would rather not accept it, close the account and you will be refunded for any period paid and not used.
